CHALET DE LA FÉE (£+)

Sector:  La Fée
Tucked away in this quieter sector, well away from the crowds. The ‘chalet’ is positioned close to the confluence point of the Route de la Fée, Fée, & Aymes runs, on the slopes above the base terminal of La Fée chairlift (37).

The piste-side terrace has waiter service for both food & drinks; it gives a good vantage point from which to study the off-piste routes in the Clos de Chalance, and has great views north-west over the Romanche Valley towards Alpe d'Huez in the distance. The 2-floor interior bar & restaurant is rather plain, but fairly cosy.

Fare on offer is based around an unpretentious snack menu:
including soup; omelette & chips; burger & chips; etc.; supplemented with pastas and grilled meat dishes.  Ideal if you want an unfussy refuelling stop.
