CHALET DE LA TOURA (££+)

A huge log cabin sited in the natural amphitheatre of the lower plain at Toura 2600, acting as the busy social hub for this core ski sector and providing the closest catering venue to the Snowpark.

There is a bar at the rear of the building, with a snow-patio area plus a reasonably cosy interior café-bar saloon with a full-service bar and a snacks service: offering chips, hamburgers, and filled baguettes.

A large terrace at the front of the building faces south across the plain, with direct views towards the Snowpark. One section is set out with deckchairs and has waiter service for drinks & snacks; the rest of the terrace is the main exterior dining area. A meet-&-greet service controls access to the dining section: the maitre d' will show you to the first available table and will then get the efficient waiting team to take your order swiftly.

Inside, there is a cosy little lounge area to the left as you enter, next to an open wood-fired pizza oven. The main interior dining saloon is quite roomy but has a reasonably cosy & homely feel, with quality décor and an open fireplace.
There is waiter service throughout for both food & drinks.

The restaurant offers good-quality wholesome meals:
including a fair range of salads; omelettes; and grills; along with an excellent range of hand-thrown wood-fired pizzas.
