LES 2 ALPES LIFT PASSES

Options
Various lift passes are available, depending on duration and on whether you want a local or a full area pass. Prices are consistent throughout the main season, with no high-season supplements. The two principal options are:

Ski Sympa  A local pass covering all low- & mid-altitude lifts (lifts numbered 1–21); available on a daily basis.
Super Ski  Full area pass, covering all lifts; available as day passes and multiples thereof, the longer the duration the cheaper the equivalent daily rate.

Access to the nearby ski lifts and off-piste ski area at La Grave/La Meije is available at a supplement on all Super Ski passes of up to five days duration; passes of at least six days duration automatically include this access at no additional cost (subject to the links being open), as well as access to Alpe d'Huez (transport not included) plus the resorts of the Grande Galaxie ski region.

All Super Ski passes of more than six days duration additionally include free access to Les Deux Alpes' ice rink (small charge for skate hire) and outdoor heated swimming pool; special discounts are also offered on a range of alternative activities for holders of these passes; for current offers, plus terms & conditions, please enquire at the central lift pass sales office in the place des 2 Alpes.
Age/Price Brackets
All full area passes are available for children (5–12 years), adults (13–65 years), and seniors (66–72 years);
local passes are available at a set rate for all age groups, and on a daily basis only.

Passes are free-of-charge for all children under 5 years of age; prices for full area passes for children aged 5–12 years are approximately 25 per cent cheaper than those for adults.
Full area passes for guests aged 66–72 years are also approximately 25 per cent cheaper than standard adult passes; lift passes are free for the over 72s.
Child/senior discounts are available for full-area [Super Ski] passes only.

Proof of age is required at the time of purchase for all child and senior lift passes.
Pedestrian Passes
If you are a non-skier, but wish to travel up to the high-altitude restaurants and viewpoints, you can purchase a ‘Pedestrian Pass’ covering all of the cable cars & gondolas, the funicular, plus some chairlifts.
Further information for non-skiers is given in the Alternative Activities chapter.

HANDS-FREE SKI PASS

Ease-of-use
Les 2 Alpes passes are hands-free: the ski lift turnstiles detect them remotely and operate automatically; for best results, place them [securely] in a lefthand pocket. Enhanced passcards are also available (deposit required), which can be recharged for future visits or returned to any Les 2 Alpes lift pass kiosk for deposit refund.
