MOUNTAIN RESTAURANTS INDEX: LES 2 ALPES
Locations & Descriptions
As you would expect for such a well-established ski area, there are a good number of on-piste bars & restaurants, well spaced out throughout the domain so that you are never far away from a refuelling & refreshment point.
Some offer a self-service selection, but the majority are à la carte. Most are large purpose-built venues located at the busy sector interchanges, but they do make an effort to provide a service based on traditional regional styles & standards. Additionally, there are a couple of more authentic Oisans mountain restaurants, where the fare on offer is centred on good-quality classic regional cuisine and where the ambiance is warm and the service is personal.
All of the venues except the one at La Fée can also be reached by non-skiers, via the major ski lifts which are accessible to walkers (Pedestrian Pass required).
Full lunch service is available between 11:30–15:00hrs; bar & snack services are available all day. Almost all venues have public WCs, some of which are serviced by attendants who levy a small charge.
