Sector: La Fée
Short, and not often open, but a real gem when accessible. It is easy to miss on the local piste map, marked simply by a short dotted line from the upper-terminals level of the
Fée chairlift (37) and the new Sautet Chairlift.
The entrance to the route is via a gap in the fence on the ridge overlooking the Bellecombes & Lac du Plan areas, and is reached by dismounting ahead-left when accessed via the Fée chairlift.
From this drop-in point off the ridge, you are immediately committed to a tough workout on steep ungroomed terrain; with a slope angle of up to 55 degrees.
Exit on to the
Grand Nord piste: then either take the
Route de la Fée track off to the skier's right, back towards La Fée 2100; or, schuss straight across the flat Lac du Plan area to link with the
Bellecombes chairlift (35) or to join the
Route du Thuit heading towards
Les Crêtes 2100 & Les Deux Alpes.
