SKI BUS

Resort Transport
There are three lines operated by the ski bus (navette) service in Les Deux Alpes, all colour-coded specific to the routes they serve. The ski buses are free-of-charge for all visitors; no lift pass is required to use the service.

Red Line (Circuit Rouge)  Running in a circuit around the entire central resort from/to the place de l'Alpe de Mont-de-Lans roundabout at the resort entrance »

Green Line (Circuit Vert)  Running in a circuit around the Alpe de Venosc quarter via the place de la Croix des Limites »

Blue Line (Circuit Bleu)  Serving the Alpe de Mont-de-Lans & Les 2 Alpes 1800 quarters, running in a circuit from/to the place de l'Alpe de Mont-de-Lans »

Timetables are posted on the 25 bus stops dotted around the resort, and are also available from the tourist board offices; times are subject to road conditions and passenger numbers. A combined routes service operates at a reduced frequency during the weeks leading up to Christmas.

Inter-Resort Shuttle
An inter-resort bus service operates between Les Deux Alpes & Alpe d'Huez twice per week (currently Wednesday & Thursday).
The service runs from/to the central bus station at the place des 2 Alpes and the bus stop at the place de l'Alpe de Mont-de-Lans roundabout.
The bus currently departs Les Deux Alpes at 08:30hrs, arriving in Alpe d'Huez at approx. 09:45hrs; leaving Alpe d'Huez for the return journey at 17:20hrs, and arriving back into Les Deux Alpes at approx. 18:35hrs.

The service operates from the last week in December to the last week in April, subject to road conditions and demand; ticket prices are excellent value, currently less than 10 euros per person for the 2-way trip.
Places are limited and must be booked 48 hours in advance: bookings may be made directly at the main Agence VFD office at 112 avenue de la Muzelle, or at their branch-office kiosk on the roundabout at the place de l'Alpe de Mont-de-Lans.
