Virtually every sports shop in Les Deux Alpes offers a snowsports equipment rental operation, so there is plenty of choice and competition to keep standards high and prices keen.

All of the major franchises are represented: including Sport2000 and Twinner, InterSport and SkiSet; plus there are a number of independent businesses providing bespoke services. Because the station focuses so heavily on new-school snowsports, there are a good number of snowboard, freestyle, and back-country equipment specialists. Some of the best specialist outlets include:

All of the largest hire operators offer equipment servicing, waxing, edge & base preparation plus repair services for your own gear, at a cost; as well as technical apparel and accessories sales.

Most visitors travelling with a tour operator tend to leave the organisation of equipment hire to their reps. Newly arrived guests will usually be taken en masse for equipment fitting early on their first morning on the mountain.
