Les 2 Alpes'
Snowpark is one of Europe's biggest, most progressive, terrain parks. The station's management treats ‘new-school’ snowsports with great respect: as evidenced by its commitment to the freeride/freestyle ethos, and features such as the innovative
Slide Zones.
The
Snowpark is located on the wide open slopes of a huge snowbowl overlooking Toura 2600, and is served by two parallel-running chairlifts (lift numbers
38 &
39). These are currently only fixed lifts, but they are reasonably efficient; the only drawback being that they are a flat walk away from/to the nearest
bar/restaurant and the major inter-sector link lifts.
The rails & boxes zone of the park is served by the short L'Envers button tow (40). This can be used to gain height in order to bypass the flat floor of the snowbowl, thereby providing an on-piste link to the cable cars' stations on the upper level of the
sector interchange at Toura 2600.
All of the park's modules offer good in-line runs, and their surrounding slopes flow down to make good links with the area's two chairlifts.
