Sector: Arcalís Cirque
A good blue, and quite challenging for early-standard novices.
It begins at the top of
L'Abarsetar chairlift, and takes a fairly direct route down through the bowl of this rugged cirque. The run has some mellow red pitches which offer intermediates a good workout too, particularly if you play off the sides and take shortcuts over the rocky inter-piste terrain.
You can also branch off to the skier's left to traverse via
Les Canals and
La Pleta to reach
Les Portelles chairlift to link into the Coma sector; otherwise, stay high on the main fall-line route of
La Font to link with
L'Abarsetar button tow, to go to the top of the piste again; or, simply continue descending towards the lodge buildings and
base station.
