Options
Except for local sector day-passes covering Arcalís only, all other standard lift pass options are full Vallnord area passes: covering all sectors at Arcalís, plus Pal-Arinsal (including the gondola to/from Pal from/to La Massana).

All passes are available for children (6–11 years old), youths (12–17 years old) and adults (18–64 years old):

Half-day  13:00hrs–close;
Full-day  and multiples thereof,
(the longer the duration, the cheaper the equivalent daily rate); and
Full Season  covering the entire season for the whole Vallnord domain.

Passes are free-of-charge for children under 6; prices for 6–11 year olds are approx. 25 per cent cheaper than those for adults; those for 12–17 year olds are approx. 12.5 per cent cheaper than those for adults.
To encourage the wearing of safety helmets, a small discount is also given on children's one-day passes if the child wears a helmet.
Passes for guests aged 65–70 years old are available at a much reduced daily rate; passes are free for the over 70s.

A photo is required only for individual passes with more than four day's duration. Proof of age is required at the time of purchase for age-related discounted passes.

Pedestrian Passes
The ski lifts at Arcalís are not accessible by pedestrians.

Seasonal Pricing Periods
Lift pass prices are up to 20 per cent cheaper during off-peak dates.
High Season  Every weekend; the week leading up to Christmas until the week after New Year; almost all of February; and Easter.
Off-peak  Covers all other dates during the winter season.

Ease-of-use
Vallnord passes are hands-free: the ski lift turnstiles detect them remotely and operate automatically; for best results, place them (securely) in a lefthand pocket. Enhanced passcards are also available (deposit required), which can be recharged on future visits or returned to any Vallnord lift pass kiosk for deposit refund.

National Lift Pass
A good option for those with their own transport:

Where to Buy a Ticket
Vallnord passes can be purchased at any of the Arcalís, La Massana, Pal or Arinsal lift pass offices and kiosks; or pre-booked online now via the Ski-Ride Travel Shop
Arcalís local sector day-passes are only available at the station itself.

There are two lift pass sales points at Arcalís: one by the roadside at the lower base area, encountered when you first arrive at the station, and one by the roadside at the rear of the upper base lodge slightly further up the same road.
