Sector: Arinsal
The
Bony Vaques is really just a fair red, allowing confident intermediates to notch up possibly their first official black run.
It starts from the upper link-track across the face of Pic Negre, shared with the neighbouring
Les Fonts & La Solana routes, and descending parallel out to the skier's left of the
Tub Estadi run. This whole mountainside is wide and open and is great for a good blast down the ungroomed inter-piste slopes on powder days.
The drop-in off the lip of the link-track to start is on to a wide blue- to mild-red-equivalent slope. The lower section is more challenging and runs through a short gully, which spills out to join the gentlest upper section of the wide
Port Vell piste.
