Sector:  Arinsal
Forget it!  This is the route indicated by the dotted black line next to the 6-seater Arinsal chairlift on the Vallnord piste map, apparently offering a home run to the Cota 1550 suburb of Arinsal village.  Why it is still marked on the piste map is absolutely baffling:  it's not maintained, it's not way-marked, and it's never open. Only after huge dumps of snow are first tracks put in by a few brave souls.

This long-abandoned project was originally begun simply to allow Arinsal's first marketing department to stake the claim for the steepest route and the greatest overall vertical drop in Andorra.  La Devesa is certainly still the principality's steepest [official] route, but since the neighbouring home-run Les Marrades piste is now much more viable, thanks to better maintenance and some snowmaking cover, the station's management can now still claim the number one spot, in respect of the greatest vertical drop, without having to bluff.
