Options
Except for local sector day-passes, all other standard lift pass options are full Vallnord area passes: covering all sectors at Pal-Arinsal (including the
gondola to/from Pal from/to La Massana), plus
Arcalís.
All passes are available for children (6–11 years old), youths (12–17 years old) and adults (18–64 years old):
Half-day 09:00–13:00hrs or 13:00hrs–close;
Full-day and multiples thereof,
(the longer the duration, the cheaper the equivalent daily rate); and
Full Season covering the entire season for the whole Vallnord domain.
Inexpensive local-sector day-passes, solely for the conveyor-belt surface lifts in the
beginners' zones at both Pal and Arinsal base lodge levels, are also available.
Passes are free-of-charge for children under 6; prices for 6–11 year olds are approx. 25 per cent cheaper than those for adults; those for 12–17 year olds are approx. 12.5 per cent cheaper than those for adults.
To encourage the wearing of safety helmets, a small discount is also given on children's one-day passes if the child wears a helmet.
Passes for guests aged 65–70 years old are available at a much reduced daily rate; passes are free for the over 70s.
A photo is required only for individual passes with more than four day's duration. Proof of age is required at the time of purchase for age-related discounted passes.
Pedestrian Passes
If you are a non-skier, but wish to travel up to the
base lodges at Pal or Arinsal, you can purchase a ‘pedestrian pass’ for each journey on the gondolas from La Massana and Arinsal. There are no other ski lifts accessible to pedestrians; to join on-piste companions, the only real option is to meet up at Pal or Arinsal base lodge.
There is an infrequent
bus service from La Massana to Pal base lodge and, if you have your own vehicle, it is also possible to drive up to the base lodges at both Pal and Arinsal; you can also reach the on-piste
‘Far West’ restaurant by driving up to the Coll de la Botella in Pal's Setúria sector.
Further information for non-skiers is given in our
Alternative Activities chapter.
National Lift Pass
A good option for those with their own transport.
The Ski Andorra Ski Pass permits access to all of Andorra's ski areas.
Please consult our
Ski Andorra page for full details.
