Sector: Arinsal
The principal lift to the
Port Negre saddle and the link to the [Arinsal-Pal]
cable car.
On Arrival: the lift arrives almost on the international border, Spain lies just ahead, with great views towards the Pal ski area. Dismount straight ahead and follow the link track dropping down ahead-left towards the busy Port Negre ridge saddle. At the bottom of this track, carefully turn sharp to the skier's right for the short flat link to the cable car; or, veer to the skier's left out on to the flat saddle area for all other options in the upper Arinsal sector.
This major lift allows for an non-stop summit-to-base cruise, with 550 m (1800 ft) of vertical descent on-piste to the
Comallempla 1950 base area, manageable even by confident novices: via
La Solana & Les Fonts or
Port Vell.
