Snowsports Gear
Nearly every sports shop in Andorra has a snowsports equipment rental operation and, since virtually every other shop in Andorra is a sports shop, there is plenty of choice and competition to keep prices keen and gear quality high.
The largest rental operations in the area are Esports Pic Negre, Esports Rossell, Esports Amadeu and Esports Pirot.

Most visitors travelling with a tour operator tend to leave the organisation of equipment hire to their reps. Newly arrived guests will usually be taken en masse for equipment fitting early on their first morning on the mountain (usually Monday).

There are a number of hire shops in La Massana, Erts and Arinsal villages, as well as larger operations up at Pal and Arinsal base lodges. Therefore, it is possible to travel up on one of the gondolas in normal footwear before being fitted for your boots and equipment on-site.
All of the largest hire operators offer equipment servicing, waxing, edge and base preparation and repair services for your own gear, at a cost.

Lockers
There are equipment locker rooms at Pal and Arinsal base lodges, so you don't have to lug your gear up and down from/to resort each day.
Two locker sizes are available:

A) for up to four sets of equipment;
B) larger ones holding up to ten sets.

Smaller, coin-operated lockers for personal belongings are provided at both Pal and Arinsal base lodges, too. Most of the equipment rental outlets will let you leave footwear in their shop, but it is not secured. Boot storage lockers are available at Arinsal base lodge only.
