The gentle contour-hugging gradient of the
Transversal forest trail earned it a green grade from the piste management team, but this long and winding route is quite narrow and often gets very choppy underfoot following heavy usage; the lack of turning space also creates knots of slow-moving nervous users and it can, therefore, present a real challenge for absolute beginners. It should really be treated as a blue run.
The route follows the line of a hillside track, which snakes through peaceful dense forest, crossing the line of
El Besurt II piste before being joined from the skier's left by the steeper
El Besurt piste, then stretches over to the roadside get-on points for
La Serra II and La Carbonera chairlifts.
