Take To The Skies
The Pyrenees are even more breathtaking when seen from a bird's-eye viewpoint:

Helicopter rides are available from the public helipad at Grau Roig, for 10-, 15-, 20- or 30-minute flights; prices depend on duration of flight booked and are charged per person. As well as these sightseeing trips, you can also charter a helicopter for visits to other ski stations, for heli-skiing excursions and for airport transfers.

Alternatively, how about launching off from a summit, harnessed into a steerable paragliding canopy? In tandem with a qualified pilot of course. This breathtaking experience is available at Grandvalira's nearby Soldeu & El Tarter sectors.

The ‘Grandvalira Circuit’ Race Track
Pas de la Casa is home to Europe's highest-altitude ice-surface race track.
It is the only permanent ice-driving circuit on the Iberian Peninsula, and it hosts one of the stages of the prestigious Andros Trophy Grand Prix, as well as regular national & regional races. The circuit is floodlit for evening events, and is something a little bit different to consider for après-ski entertainment, particularly if you're a motorsports enthusiast. Ice-driving instruction and courses are also offered, for beginners as well as for experienced race-standard drivers.

The circuit is located high on the road pass above Pas de la Casa, midway between the Costa Rodona area and the crest of the Port d'Envalira.

Rev It Up!
By far the most requested adventure activity. Budding James Bonds & Lara Crofts will love the adrenaline buzz of this great motorsport. Each snowmobile can carry two people: hold on tight as a passenger or take the controls yourself, tackling the course at your own pace or racing with an experienced guide.

Duration: from 15 minutes up to 2 hours; priced according to duration.
