Ski School Offices
The central ski school office is housed in the Grandvalira administration building underneath the chairlifts at the foot of the slopes in the middle of Pas de la Casa; the main entrance is on Avinguda d'Encamp, just next to the lift pass kiosks.
A further office is housed in a little chalet cabin on the piste beside the Font Negre snack bar, at the upper end of Avinguda d'Encamp.

This large and well-established operation has a team of over 250 multilingual instructors, many of whom are of British or Commonwealth nationality, offering a complete range of instruction for all ability levels: for skiing, snowboarding, Telemark, ski-boarding, competition preparation and even Monoskiing.

Mother-tongue English and an Anglo-centric sense of humour means there is no language barrier, and the emphasis is on having fun; the effectiveness of the instruction delivered and the rate of student progress are excellent; plus there is an easier, more flowing rapport between instructor and client.

The school also has two offices at Grau Roig: one at the principal Grau Roig services building, just beside the main lift pass kiosks; the other housed at the Cubil services building, at the lower parking area nearest the beginners' zone.
In addition to all the services offered by their colleagues at Pas de la Casa, these branches also offer instruction in Nordic skiing; at a fair-sized Langlauf circuit located nearest to the Cubil building.

Ski School Group Classes
Package holiday guests generally join the public group classes, graded according to ability level, age group and language, for either skiers or snowboarders:
these provide 3 hours tuition daily for 5 days (Monday–Friday); 4-hour public group lessons are also offered on Saturdays and Sundays, at an additional cost.

Children aged 3–6 years have their own Snow Garden zones; and from the age of 6 they can join the regular classes out on the pistes, with every effort being made to ensure that, where possible, they are placed in similar age groups.
Reduced rate prices apply for children aged 6–11 years old.
Private Instruction
Private lessons are also available: private instruction is priced per person per hour; prices are the same for adults and children all season, but are reduced by around 12 per cent if taken during the hours of 09:00–11:00 and 15:00–17:00 each day. For private group lessons, prices vary depending on group size.
Please contact the ski school directly in order to book private tuition.
Freestyle Skills Tuition
The ski school also offers a more adventurous programme of instruction (marketed as ‘Freestyle Camps’), designed to introduce snowboarders & skiers to freestyle features such as jumps, rails and halfpipes. Video appraisals and protective gear is included in the higher price of this service.
Please contact the ski school directly if you wish to book Freestyle Camp lessons.
