EL TARTER 1710:  BASE STATION BARS & RESTAURANTS

Off The Slopes
For an alternative to the on-mountain bars & restaurants in the ski area, it is relatively straightforward to descend to the nearest base station or resort village. The base station area at El Tarter is the easiest to reach on-piste, and offers a handful of good venues close to the finish areas of the home-run slopes:

Pub Grub
Roadside location next to the coach park at the entrance to El Tarter base station. A basic yet reasonably attractive pub-restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. Offering salads, pastas, and grilled meat dishes; plus a full bar & café service.
More animated in the evenings and handy for an après-ski snifter if you are based in El Tarter.

Fast Food
Directly at the foot of the pistes nearest the base terminal of the Tarter chairlift.
No terrace, but a reasonably pleasant plain & simple interior bar/restaurant serving fast-food snacks, salads, pastas, and grilled meat dishes.
No table service; place your order and pay at the counter first.

Long Lunches
Part of the 4-star Llop Gris hotel, accessible on foot from the base-station car park and/or gondola, or ski-to-door via the pisted track from the slopes nearest the base terminal of the Tarter chairlift.
No terrace, but an attractive Alpine-style décor with log fire; other welcoming features include heated boot racks, with complimentary clogs provided whilst your boots are drying/warming.
Quality grilled meats and fish dishes, with a fair range of salads & vegetables; tempting puddings selection; full bar service.
The Tarter gondola is only a short pisted link-track glide or stroll away after lunch; the Tarter chairlift is also easily reached on foot in the opposite direction.
