Sectors: Canillo/El Tarter
Purely a flat link route between the upper Canillo and El Tarter sectors, requiring you to schuss for almost its entire 800 m (875 yd) length. A short steep pitch at the start gets you moving, but then it's a tuck all the way, with a bit of a skate needed on occasions.
The 4-seater
Els Clots chairlift, parallel to the skier's left, rises in the opposite direction to return towards the Canillo sector; otherwise, keep straight ahead-left to make a poor but manageable link with the
Llosada button tow for onward links towards Soldeu and Grau Roig; or, turn to the skier's left just past the base terminal of Els Clots chairlift to join the fast
Guineu piste or to start the steep
Tamarro run towards El Tarter's central
Riba Escorxada area. The two latter routes also share a gentler escape track, out to the skier's left, allowing nervous novices to bypass their steepest sections.
NB: the weekend-only
Ratrac tow to the highest point on Pic d'Encampadana, for El Tarter's in-bounds freeride zone, departs from the area next to the base terminal of Els Clots chairlift at the end of the
Daina piste.
