Sector: Canillo
All of this sector's on-mountain catering venues are housed in the same building at
El Forn 2000.
This cafeteria is the principal venue, but the charming
Roc de les Bruixes restaurant is just next door.
There is also an Espress'Oh! café, plus a Xirixuca snack kiosk on the huge terrace sweeping round the front of the building, overlooking the
Forn slopes and the Valira Valley below.
The self-service cafeteria takes up the majority of the space: the interior dining area is plain but bright, with large picture windows letting in plenty of natural light and providing views out to the terrace and the peaks beyond.
The self-service food selection includes a basic range of salads, pastas, grilled meats, and usually one fish dish, all with a choice of vegetables; basic puddings; plus bottled/canned drinks, and lager on tap. Microwave ovens are available for reheating food if it get too cold out on the terrace.
The upper terminal of the
Canillo gondola is just a short stroll away on this same level, at the top of the
Forn slopes; the gondola
base station in Canillo village houses a Fun Food fast-food restaurant plus another Espress'Oh! café.
