Sector: El Tarter
This fast red is a FIS-approved competition piste.
The Grandvalira piste map shows it descending from the skier's right of the upper terminal of the
Tosa Espiolets chairlift, in fact it starts to the left. After a gentle start, it then swings under the line of the chairlift, corresponding more accurately with the piste map, and picks up pace to become a good motorway-wide red.
At the mid-point of the run there is a wide confluence area shared with almost all of the other pistes on this mountainside, permitting various permutations of onward descent. The
Esparver runs to the skier's right of the nearby upper terminal of the
Font Roges button tow, where it shares the slope with the
Mussol piste before splitting off to the skier's right to swoop straight down to the
Riba Escorxada plain, passing the
Pi de Migdia restaurants complex and the [upper]
Tarter gondola station on the way.
