Sector: Soldeu
The name means ‘beech sapling(s)’, and is apt for the wooded slopes surrounding this short but worthwhile piste spilling off the
Espiolets Plateau.
It begins just beyond the get-on point for the rope tow which runs in front of the
Espiolets restaurant terrace, by dropping down to the skier's left off the lower lip of the plateau.
The piste is motorway-wide, and there is plenty of room to play off to the sides in any fresh powder. It links well with the
Ós & Bosc Fosc pistes, taking you to Soldeu
base station.
An ideal first red for progressive novices.
