Snow Garden playtime | © NEVASA

Snow Gardens (Jardí de Neu)
Outdoor ‘Snow Garden’ fun-zones, exclusively for children, are provided at the mid-altitude beginners' areas at the top of the gondolas at Canillo, El Tarter & Soldeu: they are fenced-off from the main pistes and are equipped with easy-to-use conveyor-belt surface ski lifts and/or mini-button/rope tows, colourful obstacles, inflatables and cartoon statues.

Specialist nursery ski instructors manage the sites and introduce children aged 3–6 years old to the wonderful world of snowsports. This service is bookable via the ski school: either for 2-hour slots daily, or for 3 hours per day × 5 consecutive days; equipment hire is not included in admission prices.
A crèche service, for [walking] children aged 1–4 years old, is also available. Playrooms are bright, warm and well-equipped. Some outdoor activities, such as igloo- and snowman-building, are arranged depending on how cold it is, but mostly the children remain safely supervised indoors participating in games and activities or watching cartoons.

The service is offered on a 2-hour, half-day (3 hours), full-day (6 hours), 5 × half-day and 5 × full-day basis.
Staff mainly speak English, Spanish and Catalan.
Snow Gardens and crèche buildings are tucked safely away from the main slopes, yet within sight and easy reach of the main service area buildings and gondolas, and well supervised throughout the day.
