Access for Non-Skiers
Non-skiers who wish to travel up to the restaurants, services & activities areas at the top of the gondolas (from Canillo, El Tarter or Soldeu) can do so by purchasing a ‘pedestrian pass’ for those lifts.
Each ticket permits one return journey. There are no other pedestrian-accessible lifts within the ski areas beyond the gondolas' upper terminals, but the views from these mid-level service areas are superb and the facilities are good; it is also easy for your on-piste companions to meet up with you there.
Some of the alternative activities on offer are accessible using pedestrian passes; some are even accessible without requiring any lift pass purchase.
Another option for meeting up with friends on the slopes is to take a bus or taxi to Grau Roig: there are two day-lodge buildings at the busy base area (both easily accessible on foot from the bus stop and the car parks), housing a handful of bars, restaurants and shops; there is also another Adventure Activities Centre based at Grau Roig, offering a further selection of alternative activities (please consult the Ski-Ride Resort Guide to
Pas de la Casa-Grau Roig for full details).
