Sector: Soldeu
Located at the south-eastern margin of the Soldeu sector, bordering the linked Grau Roig sector in the Cubil Valley.
Although this is a ‘fast’ detachable chairlift, it runs along an exposed ridge and therefore doesn't often operate at full speed, especially during blustery conditions, making the lengthy journey feel quite slow.
On Arrival: at the upper terminal, U-turn back down the line of the lift pylons to start the
Serra de les Solanelles piste back along the ridge, giving access to the
Obac Solana,
Pla de les Pedres, and
Serrat de la Posa; or, dismount ahead-right for the steep
Obagot II into Soldeu's Solana del Forn area; dismounting to the left takes you to a short steep blue-graded link to join the
Riu de les Solanelles piste back in the Cubil Valley.
