Sector: Soldeu
A faster and more technical version of the
Serra de les Solanelles, which runs parallel above and is used to access this enjoyable red run. As well as the official entrance, there are also masses of steeper & deeper freeride drop-in points off the ridge.
The piste's motorway-like dimensions offer a fast racetrack, with opportunities to ride off to the sides (skier's right is best) into ungroomed undulating powder fields peppered with natural berms & windlips.
The run finishes by merging with the
Riu de les Solanelles piste in the Cubil Valley for good links with the twin Pla de les Pedres chairlifts: the Grau Roig sector lift is the nearest; the
Soldeu sector lift is lower to the skier's left.
