Sector: Canillo
The sole link-lift leaving the Canillo sector (towards the upper El Tarter sector), which also provides uplift to the start of Canillo's two uppermost runs:
the
Rossinyol and the
Gaig.
When approaching this lift from the
Canillo gondola &
El Forn services-hub level, it is best to go to the skier's left on the
Forn I piste, because the lift pass control turnstiles are on that side; when approaching from the finish of the
Rossinyol and
Gaig pistes, you are already on the best side.
On the journey up, the
Gaig run is directly below you. On arrival at the top, and to remain in the Canillo sector, U-turn to the right on dismount to start the
Rossinyol and to access the
Gaig; otherwise, dismount straight ahead to start the gentle schuss on the
Daina piste linking into the upper El Tarter sector.
NB: the lift attendant's hut at the upper terminal is equipped as a first-aid post; and there is a piste map over by the fence opposite.
