DOWNLOAD DIRECT TO MOBILE

Downloading  You can download TXTguides directly to any compatible mobile handset from our separate mobile website: simply point your mobile web browser to ski-ride.mobi and follow the instructions given there.
Ski-Ride don't charge for TXTguides, but your network provider may charge you for data-transfer for downloading the files; each full TXTguides is less than 180 kilobytes, so download should take only a few seconds per title
(please consult your contract/network provider re. data-download charges)

File-sharing  If your mobile has Bluetooth or infrared capability, then you can transfer TXTguides for FREE from another Bluetooth- or infrared-enabled device; and file-share† them with your friends in the same way.
First switch on the Bluetooth or infrared communication on each of the devices to be paired. Select the TXTguides file you wish to transfer from the File Manager folder on the sending device, then simply send the file to the receiving device (please consult device user manual for full instructions). The procedure is similar to file-sharing photos, videos or music.

Save & Install  During the download procedure, your phone may display a warning saying that the file is from an untrusted source, this is because our service is independent and open to all networks: click OK/Continue, TXTguides will not harm your mobile. Save your chosen TXTguides in one of your phone's folders: your Games or Applications folders are best.
Once saved, simply select the file to Install/Open.
NB: remember to turn off your browser and/or Bluetooth/infrared connection when you finish.

Using TXTguides  Once saved to your mobile, you can open and read your library of TXTguides as often as you like, FREE-OF-CHARGE and with no network signal required to access them.
When you click on a TXTguides title, the book opens to its ‘Cover’ page: this includes instructions on how to begin. TXTguides are designed to be navigated via the Menu (Options) function on your phone's softkeys, then by using your scroll buttons and/or keypad to select chapters and open the individual pages. Each page is just 2 clicks from the Main Menu.

Updates  New editions of all TXTguides titles are published regularly during the winter season: updates include any new features and/or corrections.
Subscribers to the free Ski-Ride newsletter receive regular updates to help them keep their library of TXTguides titles up-to-date.
